  A tire pressure gauge is a device used to measure the air pressure inside a tire. It is a handheld tool specifically designed for this purpose. The gauge typically consists of a body or housing with a pressure sensor, a display mechanism, and sometimes a hose or nozzle for connecting to the tire valve stem. There are various types of tire pressure gauges available, including dial gauges, digital gauges, pencil gauges,  and combination gauges. Each type operates slightly differently, but they all serve the same purpose of providing a reading of the tire pressure.   The Types of Gauges Pencil Gauge: Pencil gauges are simple and compact gauges that resemble a pencil in shape and size.
